These methods, while useful, can sometimes lead to rushing into the faceoff stance, potentially compromising technique or resulting in wasted time waiting for the next cycle.

In real-game situations, referees typically allow sufficient time before calling 'set,' making hurried reactions unrealistic. To address this, the trainer incorporates voice command functionality that enhances realism and control during practice.

By clicking the microphone icon located at the lower right of the main interface, users can transition from "Off Air" to "On Air" mode. Once activated, they can prepare their gear and initiate the faceoff sequence—'down,' 'set,' 'whistle'—simply by saying 'go.' This feature is particularly effective for practicing alongside a partner, allowing ample time after one round to prepare for the next.

Additional voice commands include 'Snap,' which rapidly repeats five 'down,' 'set,' 'whistle' sequences with variable pauses—ideal for solo practice; and 'Three,' which executes a tri-part sequence—useful for breaking down move techniques in detail.

After issuing a voice command, visual indicators confirm recognition: the 'Settings' button changes color to indicate successful input, and the configuration button turns green just prior to the whistle sound. These cues assist players, especially box lacrosse participants, who aim to maintain eye contact with the referee rather than focusing solely on the ball during faceoffs.

The voice commands and timing intervals between phases are configurable through the Settings menu, accessible via the central icon. Users are advised to choose distinct words that avoid homonyms for clarity and reliability. The timing presets reflect typical high school and college game rhythms but can be adjusted for professional pace where referees maintain consistent cadence.
